Smartphones dominate

Revolution smartphones takes on the whole. From year to year increases the number of users declaring the use of this device. In 2015 it was already 58% of the respondents. On the one hand, the impact on this is the fact that the market is very difficult to call non-smartphone. This type of “traditional device” is usually deliberately sought by the user – in particular, these are older people, which is difficult to get to grips with the idea of smartphone and touchscreen.

Bad news for manufacturers of compact cameras

Improving capabilities of smartphones, consequently it led also to replace them other devices. Here the most “affected” camera – undoubtedly had an impact on the fact of having a smartphone virtually all the time at hand as an additional argument for constantly increasing the quality of photos taken by the phone. In this respect, certainly should fear manufacture of compact cameras, the parameters of which even exceeding their smartfonowych competitors are not able to win with instant access to a telephone.

The fact that the smartphone is already much more than a phone evidenced by the fact that in addition to telephone calls, in nearly 60% of the position is used for other purposes. These include SMS (24%), browsing social media (19%) or navigation (11%).

Increasingly, we buy online phone and tablet

Mobile revolution but rather the evolution of experiencing the segment of e-commerce. In the United States, online sales via mobile devices such smartphones and tablets have overtaken sales using laptops or desktops. This trend is progressing well in Europe, including Poland. Especially important is, therefore, to the creator of e-trade platform they laid strong emphasis on responsiveness or mobile versions of their online stores.

Comparing the popularity of the devices themselves in shopping online for the reason of convenience and screen sizes leaders are tablets. Analyzing the structure of an online shopping cart, we see a constant trend – the most common cause in 34% of cases were purchased books, music and games, further clothing and footwear (29%), electronic equipment (18%) and cosmetics (20%).

The challenge for web developers and online stores
